DOME OF LIFE
A first-in-the-country structure that will serve as an Integrated Disaster Management Center. Evacuation facilities, Storage and Impounding Area, and Multi-purpose event place all in one.
This is primarily built with the intention to help and shelter people, especially in typhoon-prone areas. The 4-storey dome can fit more than 5,000 people during force majeure events. The dome has a storage room and a kitchen where goods will be pre-positioned, stored, and cooked for the evacuees. The facility can provide all the essential needs of each individual until they can recuperate from the natural calamities. Dome of life has mother and child rooms, daycare, PWD, health and physical fitness facilities. Even livestock will be sheltered. The area also has a multi-purpose hall for different events. Sporting events can be held in the basketball area. The dome also has offices that can be rented by companies and agencies. The dome also has a museum for disaster management. Other facilities include ground-floor parking and a lobby. It has a helipad for safety landing during emergency situations.
